MEET THE OWNER

Yolanda “Nurse Yolo” Cotton, MSN, RN, AMB-BC is the owner of Abundant Healthcare Training Academy, LLC and brings over 25 years of healthcare experience across multiple clinical and educational disciplines. She became a CPR instructor after recognizing the urgent need for increased community awareness and hands-on training in life-saving emergency response skills.

Yolanda has dedicated her career to empowering individuals, organizations, and communities through high-quality life-saving education and corporate compliance. She is a certified American Heart Association CPR Instructor and remains current on the latest AHA training standards and guidelines.

In addition to leading her academy, Yolanda also serves as Adjunct Faculty at Grand Canyon University, where she contributes to the development of nursing professionals through higher education instruction.

A fun fact about Yolanda is that she is also a Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC), using her nursing knowledge to educate legal professionals on nursing standards of care and clinical practice. Her journey into legal nurse consulting was inspired by her late brother, Franklin D. Ball, Esq., whose work in the legal field sparked her passion for bridging healthcare and law.
